well i gave the tank a good clean today and it seamed to have brightened up a little, i have bunched all of my plants in one corner and put my ornaments to the other side so i have more gravel space.. it seams to look alot better.. I went from sand back to gravel because i got bored of the sand...

Hello, I have a Juwel Vision 180 fish tank, in black (of course :) ).. I have black gravel too, so the tank just looks really dark. I dont have a backing on at the moment as it made it look even darker!! I dont have the original light unit for the tank as when bought second hand the lights...

I have just tested the water, and nitrate level is apparantly: 20. Sorry, was reading the label on the bottle wrong.

on my testers there is two tests for nitrate, one for NO2 and NO3, so i put the results of both. Ive been told by most of the people that have tanks that no nitrate is good, my local fish shop said that too. :/ Oh and no, i havent sprayed nothign near the tank.
