Congrats on you fairy Cichlids breeding you seem to have a bit of a problem here i see , i also do think putting them into a tank of there own as they really dont get on with other fish especially during breeding they will attack and even kill others wearing out every other fish in the tank...
Well if you have used treated water from your tap and new gravel your plant may struggle to stay alive as the new tank wont be cycled and this will not really help in your cycle process . you can buy plant food for your plants but thats not really speeding your cycle up .

A few monthes ago i had the same problem with my platy fry , With using whatever good treatment you decide i would recomend just using half the dosage for the first time then on the next dose use the full dose , this just gives the fry some time to get used to the treatment and it worked great...
