it doesnt measure below 0.5 ppm on the test strip, i did a 70% water change today at dinner and its still measuring the same.

nitrite is less than 0.5ppm and nitrate is less than 20ppm

yes, nitrite and nitrate levels are ok, ph is about 7.5 and the hardness is quite high. they seem to be better today to be honest, less slimey. i will do a big water change and keep an eye on them all day tomorrow as its my day off work

Well my ammonia tester has shown less than 0.02ppm for 2 weeks now. I will do a 60 - 70 % change tomorrow. Once the ammonia is at 0 how long will it take for them to start recovering?
