Has spread to a few of my ornate tetras. Starting to wonder if it might be velvet :S as they look like they have a dusting of small pale spots as well as small blue patches. 2 of the sick cardinals now have grey patches as well. Gonna have to find some medication when my pay comes in tomorrow...

Getting worse. The patches seem to be getting larger and thicker. Noticed at night time when cardinal coloration fades the dark blue remains. 3 of my Cardinals have large patches, 4 have small patches and the rest (4 others) seem to be fine for now. Doesn't look like it is on any of my ornate...

It kind of does look like a blue film though :S No flicking or rubbing though

It is dificult to describe but: One of his eyes is fine, the other appears perfectly fine in that there is no cloudiness, fungus, etc, however it protrudes a tiny bit from his head More of a concern is that when looking at him front on, there seems to be a silver mass I can see inside his head...

Isn't he/she adorable! It's name is Skittles; The Masked Bandit, because when you look at it head on, it has a cool mask over its eyes :) Skittles is very outgoing, I can see him/her at least 50% of the time, which is awesome, as I was expecting not to see him/her for weeks on end! Skittles...

Especially if the male set up his territory in the middle of then tank. Then there's trouble! :rolleyes:

No I thought that was it at first, but I can always spot him in the tank and I can always see the silver, no matter where he is. I can tell him apart, because he is smaller than the 2 "top" fish, but bigger than the other 3

No, the eye looks fine externally. I was worried because I can see silver through his head. Nothing else appears wrong. I'm not gonna stress about it too much

So a few days ago, I finally got some ornate tetras. They are amazing. However I was obsessively watching them this afternoon, when I noticed I could see what looks to be the silver of one of the tetras eyes through its head. The others are not like this, so I am concerned something is wrong...
