In addition tou our fish, we have 4 dogs ranging in size from Pomeranians to a Giant Schnauzer (all rescues), Ring-neck Doves, Budgies, Golden Pheasants in an outside aviary, Southdown Babydoll sheep, Nigerian Dwarf goats, American Guinea Hogs (true hogs, not even remotely related to guinea pigs), bee apiaries, 2 orchards, a vegetable garden and numerous flower and nature gardens, all squeezed onto 10 acres.
We enjoy being outside and gardening (obviously), but also primitive camping, canoeing, climbing, hiking, shooting, book collecting, reading, numismatics, beer, wine, and scotch tasting, and dinner parties. We own only 1 TV, which mainly gets used only during the winter months.
My wife still works, in Oncology, we both volunteer with several humanitarian and children's agencies, and try to stay busy overall.
