Go for it mate, one thig i will say if you are looking for a instant tank then do plenty of reading before you get it then if anything should go wrong you will have an idea of how to deal with it

hi steve, in my opinion for a first marine tank i would go for something a bit bigger, as it would be easier to maintain, also i think 20 gallons is to small for 3 or 4 fish i would personally say two is a maximum for a tank this size

As al have said the bigger the water volume the better this doesnt have to be all in the main tank though you could have a 50gal show tank then 150 gal in sumps etc. IMO the biggest you want to go as a beginner is 100gal generally because in the uk im not sure where you are the cost increases...

Hi there Metal halide lights are what the majority go for but i have a T5 unit with 6 tubes and the output is as good as a halide only it doesnt give the ripple effect that halides do. I would go for the T5s
