is it possible for a 4 inch parrotfish and an eight inch Green Terror to spawn. They are in a 55 gallon, water temp 78-80 degrees.

Great thanks....how do you recommend washing it?? Also, is it ok to go down to the local river and get some rocks for my re-design?? If so, how can I be sure to kill any parasites that are on them??

I currently have gravel in my tank. I have since learned that my cichlids may prefer sand. What kind of sand is safe to use in my tank?? Can I buy playground sand at Home Depot or do I need to buy aquarium sand?? Please help!!!
