Do you have bogwood in this tank? The reason I ask is I have two planted tanks. 1 has bogwood and has a tinge of yellow to it, the other doesn't and is crystal clear - I add Leaf Zone to both of them. I just wonder if there is some kind of reaction, as unlikely as it sounds...

Thought I would bump this as I have the same question - although may have also found an answer. I have managed to put a T5 bulb inside my hood and keep the T8 for a 'mood light', however the heat from the T5 keeps melting the fittings. It also sits just under the feeding lid and nearly blinds...
