I have a black and white spotted fancy mollie. I noticed today that the top of his fin is turning a bright yellow colour. Is this normal or does he have something wrong with him? Thanks

my 10 gallon fish tank was hit hard by ick and before i understood what had happened i lost a lot of fish. I'm now down to a mollie, a frog, and a bottom feeder who's name i'm unaware of how to spell. Anyways for Maracide do i leave in the carbon filter or take it out? Do i raise the temperature...
