I'm using an API Master Test kit so I think it's pretty reliable I've just tested the water levels and they are: pH 7.6 Ammonia 0.0ppm Nitrite 0.0ppm Nitrate 0.0ppm I've now added an airstone to break the water surface and see if that helps at all, not really sure what else to do other then...

Yeah I used to do the water levels daily when I first got my tank, I mean I only checked it because I just added 2 new fish even though I've had the tank set up for 9 month now I suppose, I just through because it's not particularly small (80L) I thought it's better to be safe then sorry...
