hi there the tank is one metere 15 cm long 45 cm back and 50 cm tall i dont know wether that makes any difference. The tank seems huge for the fish compared to most of the aquariums i have seen them in. I'm trying my best and think i'm providing a home for them as best as i can. They seem happy...

how would you reccomend its treated? Its bizarre as only effects this one fish and does not effect him when he is the other tank could it be that hes being burned by the filter or getting nicked by sharp rocks ?? I've never seen anything like it before!

hi there i now have another fluval 4 which seems to have created a very strong current but the goldfish is still losing scales they appear completly healthy underneath with a pink tinge ive included some pics to give you a better idea. Apart form the scale loss the fish appears...

well no scales have replaced those lost but hes stable and seems healthy

Thanks for all your help it really is appreciated! I'm definatly going to look into getting another filter I was looking at those power ones that are quite big they take the water out of the tank filter it and then return it not sure if thats a good description lol! Will keep you updated on...

the fluvals don't seem to great even before the goldfish id clean the gravel and there would be lots of waste sucked up. Can you reccomend a different filter? I am going to keep the golfish in the smaller tank so i can closely moniter them and when they get better i will try to transfer them to...

hi there the pink areas seem to just be where about three of his scales should be it looks quite healthy with no evidence of dead skin. The surrounding scales look completly healthy I would guess the tank is around 5ft by 2 ft not to sure on how you work these things out. I'm afraid i wouldn't...
