not sure if this is the right section but... after having my plants for about 2 weeks, i notice 2 small snails on my pebles and glass front, so far ive only spotted the two but i no they multiply fast, so what are my options for getting rid of them? i thought i would keep them to eat the algea...

i bought 25 plants off ebay for £5, they are all growing really well, i havent changed my lighting from the standard bulb that came with the tank.

im thinking of getting some corys as my next fish in my 60L tank, do they uproot plants?

ive cut up the old media and stuffed it best i could in the 2 side compartments on the u2.

it wont affect the filter if its stuffed tight will it? the stingray media is a wierd shape. the new filter is a fluval U2.

so ive just taken delivery of my new filter as my stingray one is rubbish, will it be better to stuff my current media in with the new filter and remove the old or run both at the same time for a week or so?

i have the same thing, mine makes the surface look cloudy. my tank is only 2 months old so hope it will clear up on its own like above have said. my filter only breaks up the corner it is in buy my filter is 4 inches under the water.

i can definately say they enjoy their food :)

2 days ago i got 3 orange sunshine guppys, they spent a good amount of their time at the top of the tank just below the water line. they arnt trying to get air just sitting bellow the surface occasionaly going specs of stuff on the surface. is this normal behaviour? they do occasionaly go to...

i was going to run them both at the same time for a few weeks to let the bacteria build up, would i be ok doing this?

mine come on at 9 and go off at 9 so 12 hours, im planning on setting up some type of moonlight lights so they will do the first and last hours.

that sounds like my tank will be quite full, im quite worried about over stocking this being my first time with tropicals.
