Hi all,
My 14 year old oranda (bubbles) has a lump on its side... It can swim fine but when he is stationary he floats to the top and the lump sticks out the water..
The lump has red on it...
I have used melafix and the redness went away... After a few days of not using melafix the redness...
HA Ha!
The range is a brilliant shop..... remember .. "If they dont have it... you dont need it".
But think I paid like 2 quid for my ammonia and its a big bottle!
If you have a " The range" shop they sell it in there dirt cheap aswell just for anyone else looking!
With Cycling your tank you can get really cheap API master test kits on Ebay! I paid £18 for mine and free P&P!.
I got my second hand tank off Gumtree.
75 quid for a 3ft 130 litre tank!.
Second hand is the best way to go for value for money!
Means you can spend a bit more on a decent filter aswell!
Ha ha! Glad you all like it:)
wow lesley looks like your going to have the full lot soon!
Its nice to let the kids have a little touch!
Now I need to get rid of this fin rot that the oranda had when I got him..
Its quite bad.. sooo thinking salt baths? what do you guys think?
Decided to upload some pictures anyway for you guys
This was before I added the extra gravel.
