I have never put a shark in anything less than a 55. I have 4 barbs in a 55 and I have had them for a long time and they are fine. Same with my 2 sharks.

Did you rinse the flters good before you installed them? If you did then maybe try something that will help clear up the water. They make a chemical to add to the water to help it clear up. I have a 55 that always seems to be cloudy after a water change and cleaning.

Ok that helped a little. This is a fresh water fish and all I can find are the salt water cusk eels. It really looks like a catfish that has mated with a knife fish. -_- Don't know what to think of this new fish. I am thinking that the store got the name wrong. It dose resemble the salt water...
