Yeah, I've realize that convicts would most likely become too aggressive. Firemouths on the other hand, totally slipped mind :D

Also I would add young fish and add them together, since the JD is young.

At this point I'm going to assume the fish has died. :( How long did you acclimate him for? Sounds like it could very well be pH shock.

How come no one has suggested a betta? Shrimp would be cool...wouldn't recommend any tetras or more than 1 or 2 guppies or danio's.

Although recommended in basically all situations, for freshwater tanks a quarantine tank is really a necessity as it is in saltwater tanks. Mainly meaning extensive reefs, where thousands of dollars have been spent and introducing an infected fish could be devastating. I have never quarantined...

Personally, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like your new to the hobby. This being said, IMHO I would not recommend for you to get German rams. Although beautiful and great fish, they tend to be very fussy when it comes to water condtions and changes in conditions. I've lost a few...

Hey guys, A few weeks ago I put a EBJD in my 37g tank. I'd say he is around 1.75" right now and is with some cory's. I'm gonna be taking down my 37 and getting a 55. Was wondering if I could keep convicts with my JD. Or if anything else would be good with him. Some sort of oddball...

New to keeping SW, keeping mine at 1.024 as was recommended. What is the benefit of 1.026? Seems like some of you swear by it or something.

I used DI water. Do you think that would be the max stocking with a pair of clowns, 1 cardinal, 1 pseudo, and a goby?

A Glo T5 HO 2x39w with one powerglow bulb and one marine glow bulb. Just out of curiousity why drop the angel? It would be going in a while down the line, and I kinda like them :hey:
