well the size of the tank is dependent on the thickness of glass you have. if your willing to buy glass 4 feet thick then your tank could be upwords of 2000 gallons. i dont know the exact equation for this relationship for thickness of glass and size of tank but you could probably find it online...

Yeah it's called YOUR A FREAKING FISHAHOLIC. It's ok everyone in this hobby goes through it. Just don't go bankrupt. As long as your not spending to much money for things and your not messing up your love life then your good. Also make sure your able to take care of all the tanks.
There is virtually no difference. They look a little different but right now I have mollies and platys and I haven't noticed any difference. I will warn you that if you have a male and a female you will get babies for sure. There is no stopping it. So if you don't want baby's get either just...
nice job hiding the license plate. it looks fine to me. just make that the back corner. one thing i would do though would be to possibly re seal that side just to be safe. then you should be fine.
i have never worked with these fish. i would maybe try out severums first as they are very docile and great looking. there are many different colors and they are nice fish
