i couldn't tell you about cloramine...so i will believe you that it doesn't evaporate and continue to use the drops...maybe the levels vary depending on where oyu live??? oh well drops aren't too much of a pain in the arse!!

my mom used to always say that if you left the water out for 24 hrs that the chlorine evaporated..i don't know ...but we always used water from a goose neck filter and it went straight in ... here i haven't set up my filter ... the insert is like 40 dollars... so i can't afford it right now...

in a 10 gallon tank with 5 fish... 3 guppies..and 2 stunted platys ( i left them in the baby net too long! ) i was just wondering ? i need to know for normal circumstances as well as i am having green algea on the glass of my tank and i am thinking that it is from a lack of water changes...

i do it in a one gallon jug... then pour it in ... as i only have a 1 gallon taki i don't have many problems with it !!!... and it works good for me!

let me rephrase what i said b-4 i have a test kit but not one where i can test the amonia.... the nitrites are 0 and the nitrate is 40... still within the reccomended range....

yes the tank has gravel in it and has been running for about 5 weeks ...it was an already existing tank that i drained and washed the tank and the gravel...i didn't replace the inserts in the biofilter then cuz i thought it was better to leave them and change them a month down the road... the...
