Sorry, yes, meant to include water parameters. Ammonia 0. Nitrate 10. Nitrite 0. Fish were a Pearl Danio, 2 years old. Serpea Tetra, 4 years old. Red Eyed Tetra 3 years old.

For the last month after my usual Python water change of 25% in a 65 gallon well established, unplanted tank I have lost 1 fish a week. I've been changing my water weekly the exact same way for years. Any advice appreciated. A couple of the fish were a little old, but this is odd to me.

Rule of thumb, water always wins. Best to buy a new tank in my opinion. The best way for total peace of mind.

Are parasites of this nature common in Platy and other live bearers?

In my well established tank, 2 of my plates got very skinny and died. Water parameters very good, other fish are fine. I'm guessing a parasitic disease but what type?

What could be causing this spinal curvature? The fish is 5+ years old.

So I showed the pictures to an aquarium business, not a chain, and they said it looked like a crack from the front of the tank bowing out and I need to replace the tank. They provide the service, I'm too old to do it myself. Pricy fix after all.

Just a support for the lid, in front by where the door opens to feed,etc.

I found on top of my tank, next to the lid, a crack in the plastic frame that holds up the glass top in front. Any ideas on how to repair? It is not a part near the water line, so it's not affecting the tank seal, thank goodness. However it looks likely to spread. This is part of a 20 year old...
