Just wanted to share my gorgeus Austrolebias Bellotti (a type of southamerian killifish). He has swimbladder disease but I've been taking care of him with good water quality and plenty of food so he gets better.

THanks for the repply. I believe the water parameters are similar, but goldfish could eat or nip the guppies. The three little piggies I got are very young, so I don't think they will do much harm.

So I planned to have a balcony-pond. It was 100 lts, about 20 gallons, cycled it. Figured with plants and weekly water changes it would hold 3 golfish. I did throw in some food to help with the cycling but it wasn't an every day thing.

Crayfish can be really fun, but they are voracious and may eat your plants
Cherry shrimp are as hard as they get, may even be kept without food for days with no problem
What about a Killifish? some of them eat dry foods and are very beautiful...
I want to buy a surface skimmer for my 5 gallon. It's not a fancy tank, but the duckweed is everywere and want to get rid of it.
