Thanks for the info, yes am doing the fishless cycle - well trying. so far i have added nutrafin biological aquarium supplement cycle and a few flakes of food. am going to test my tap water for ph levels to help me choose the correct fish, as for adding ammonia - i will do this asap.

A few pic's of my first tropical fish tank :rolleyes: I got some driftwood and was told to soak it in water before i add it to the tank, how long would you suggest to do this for? Regards Andy
