a Flying fox I believe the striped runs from nose all the way to the end of the tail fin, where as a sae's stripe stops right where the fins starts.

The only thing you will have to change on the aquapod is the pump, they run hot and pump very little, and the actinic bulb. I actually just converted mine from saltwater to fresh after my prized fish died and I just gave up on saltwater. They're perfect for nano sized freshwater planted...

well that would explain why they stopped pearling. They pearled when I had only a few fish. Now it's heavily stocked to i guess the plants produce just enough to replenish what the fish have used....solves my question. just as long as they don't die on me. thanks.

I've used sub 32 degree salt water to put down my dying tetras. Lots say freezing water is painful, but as soon as they drop in they are gone. The shock is too much and they stop breathing immediately.
