Can anyone advise what root tabs I should use in sand? All the ones I find say push into the gravel! Or does it not matter? And ones I can buy in the UK.

Three things I need to know about adding salt! One of my tanks has Mollies and pictus catfish in and I want to add salt. What is the amount I need to add? Will this have any bad effect on the two pictus catfish I also have in there? Will the amount used effect live plants?
