    Sucking Loach Eat Molly Fry?

Yeah don't do it. Not worth risking as you have more working against you than for you.

How To Transfer Fish From Smaller To Bigger Aquarium?

Hi Mercury As arobinson said you will benefit from moving your filter media over to the new tank to help it mature. With regards to moving the fish, I would get some plastic bags (most LFS will give you them free) and re-acclimatise them to the new tank. Although things like your pH and...

    Dwarf Puffer Theoretical Tankmates

Hi Echinoderm Sounds like a lovely little setup you've got there! Mixing Dwarf Puffers with any other fish can be very very difficult. Mainly, due to the fact that every puffer has a different personalitity. Mixing them with shrimp is certainly a no - you really cannot trust the puffers to...

    Pignose Puffers - Tetraodon Suvattii

Cheers Neale. Like you say, if nothing else, it's an excuse for 'another' puffer tank! The breeding will probably seem easy in comparison to pursuading the Mrs to let me have another tank!!

Tank Of The Month - November 2009

Good tanks this month. I think there is a perfect planted tropical and a perfect reef tank to choose from. Will be interesting to see if the majority prefer Tropical or Marine. :hyper:

Yeah I agree, it's very frustrating! I think I will try and get another 3. Hopefully I can introduce these to the 2 I have (I'll stick them in a new, bigger tank together) and then provide plenty of caves and then just hope for the best!! Thanks for your help Neale.

    Pignose Puffers - Tetraodon Suvattii

Yeah I've been trying to find some concrete information but everyone that has done this seems to have just been lucky and moreover, hasn't been able to either identify which pair, in a group, has mated, or any difference between the male and female. However, it is generally agreed that the male...

    Pignose Puffers - Tetraodon Suvattii

OK Neale, thank you. They are probably about 6-7cm long now, so a decent size. From what you are saying is sounds very difficult to judge if I have a pair or not!! I suppose the only true way of getting a breeding project going is to get a group of say 5? Or would that not be good practice...
