Just got home from work, looked in the tank and found my betta, double the size he was yesterday and his body a palish white and his scales look like there sticking up on end. The water quaity is fine, temp fine etc and all other fish appear ok, what could this be and how can i help him?

cool, so best to just leave it floating, i bought it from the LFS and they had it mark all as bog wood

Just bought a huge bit of bog wood for my tank, got it home and put it in thinking it would sink to the bottom however it floats! Is this being think (with it being the firdt time i have used it) or should it sink? Any ideas how I can get it to sink?
