yeah, that's what i thought. tell me more about your convicts in the 20 gallon. did they breed? was the fighting constant to the point it was cruel? just a bit more info.
i might just go with another idea... 20 gallons doesn't seem big enough
Okay, so I'm fed up of planted tanks and have thought long and hard and would love a cichlid 'community'. I know it's kind of hard ina 20 gallon though.
I'm thinking with like rock structures and such. I don't really want dwarf cichlids because I've already kept them - I'm looking for...
how many do you have? danios are shoaling fish so should be kept in groups no less that six in my opinion but the more the merrier.

they are definately serpaes.
i think there is a variety that doesn't have the black spot. however, when i bought five of these they lost the spot - not completely but it was faded. i then increased the shoal to eight and they became a lot more colourful and the spot come back so i would say...
i don't have a partner but my parents aren't that interested. my mum doesn't even come into the lfs with me! my dad does although he isn't that interested - he just moans when i say that i'm redoing my tanks again. my sister does pretend to be interested with her little 10gal.
they have been...
