    Rehousing fish

I guess you could give them to a friend that has a pond? (If you have a friend with a pond lol). I guess Craigslist is your best bet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Please tell me what is wrong with my swordtail (picture)

Hi! The picture isn't very clear, but from here it looks like the scales are raised? If so, that's a huge red flag. That could indicate dropsey, which is usually fatal. As for the bump, I'm not sure. Maybe a fungus of some sorts? Good idea quarantining him! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sick goldfish?

Also, he doesn't rest there all the time. He'll swim around for a few minutes, go to the bottom, and continue swimming Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sick goldfish?

Hi yall! I need some help. I have a fantail goldfish in a 10g (yeah, I know, it's small. I hope to upgrade his tank in a few months). I noticed that over the last few days he's been resting on the bottom, with his head to the gravel and fins facing up (I'll ad a picture). I checked the water...

My Black Skirt Tetra is sick! Pleas help!

Hi everyone! I need help! A few months ago I rescued a black skirt Tetra from my uncle, who kept him in a 40g with barely any water (5-10 gallons of water actually in the tank), no heater, and he hadn't cleaned the tank in 6 moths. The fish hadn't been fed for one. When my uncle finally took...

Fish for a 30 gal tank?

No problem! hmm... I'm not terribly familiar with gouramis, but if they tolerate your pH and such you could do a dwarf Gourami and a school of something. If you do intend on getting a gourami, do NOT mix them with guppies or other brightly colored fish, as they can get territorial. I hear a...

Fish for a 30 gal tank?

Hmmm... I'm definitely a huge fan of guppies. They're very attractive and personable. I'm not sure what the compatibility is with the other fish you mentioned ( I don't know much about those). Cherry barbs are also great fish! I would recommend a school of no less than 6 tho..

    Saltwater vs Freshwater?

Many people suggest 30 gallons MINIMUM for saltwater beginners.

    Good tank size for betta?

Like many others have mentioned above, we would need to know the amount of gallons it holds... I would recommend nothing less that 2.5 gallons for a betta. 5+ is best.. Side Note: I would suggest not having plastic plants in there. They can damage the fins of a betta. Use silk plants or live...

    What’s this?

Hmm... hard to tell. It could be a bit of algae? Does it move by itself? I would suggest removing it..

Fish for a 30 gal tank?

With that pH you could fit a wide variety of tropical fish... it really depends on what you want I guess
