I see, shows that i truley am living up to my forum status as newbie here, haha, i will get these problems sorted and report back once i have made the changes.

The larger tank is very well planted and i did use to test it quite often with test kits, but now i tend to let it sort itself out which it does no problem, there are currently very few fish in that one.

Its understanable, next time i can i shall get proper test kits to test the water. Also i apolagise if im not seeing this but how is this an emergency? Its not as if any of my fish have been dying since the new set up and none of them appear to be stressed or showing aggression towards each...

I used one of the tetra 6 in 1 test strips so it wasnt any proper test kit, but everything looked ok, i especially checked the ph which looked to be great.

Readings are coming out fine for the tank, nothing is out of the ordinary with it. I'm a shame to say the other tank is 350l, but i'll probably have to get rid of it fairly soon anyways, the clown loaches at the moment are probabaly about 5 inches at the moment and its been running for just over...

To address the plec situation, one is a bulldog plec and one im not sure of it looks like a duller version of a clown plec. The clown loach is only in their temporarily to sort out the snail problem i have been having. The king tetras i saw at my lfs and havent seen them since, i started off...

You dont have to have a new plant as you are probably getting enough oxygen from the air pump, although the plec might like to nibble on a real plant. I would say some sort of rainbow fish would be good, especially bosmani rainbows as they are big bright and colourful. Also you could get a pair...
