Hey gang, you know when you buy a pack of live daphnia from your lfs and there's loads of debris or sloughed skins or whatever they are in there, how can you separate the two so they don't foul the tank water? Ta.

I've just found a HUGE population of these chaps in my breeding tank (bare bottom and minimal deco)... I have been feeding very sparsly recently with a view to do a W~C and copious live foods stating Sunday, so they are not from overfeeding... however, I've put capatta leaves in there for water...

Well it seems that the majority would like to see it happen, and maybe we should support the majority? I understand though if it creates an awful lot of extra work (I know nothing of how to build websites) it could be tiresome for those involved, or maybe there is someone who would like to take...

Hey gang, I'm now looking at how to feed my new fry, I have a brine shrimp hatchery but as I'll be at work I need to have an alternative food source. Are the liqufry foods any good? There's one from interpet and one from JBL, any thoughts on these would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I had the same thing with my API (I know, I know!!) test kit, all seemed well apart from the nitrites, but at least the fish got an extra water change from it! JBL are a good brand though so I would be inclined to go with it.. I guess the thing to do would be to cross check it with another kit...

Hey, I'm 99% sure that they have spawned, but obviously I can't tell as its in a coconut cave. After adding peat to the tank (their own 2 footer) yesterday and a week of live foods, they both popped into breeding colours , like the most vivid I have seen, and shimmied in front of each other...

What do you reckon? I think there could be a call for a breeders section within TFF, would be a great source of info all in one place.
