    Snail Problem

the yo-yo loach (botia lohachata) seems to stay pretty small and people are posting that it solves snail problems pretty well... does anybody else have opinions on them? almost every place online i find a profile of it says it's 10-12", comparable to clowns... and I wouldn't get it since I...

    My 55gallon Semi-planted

the 'rot' that you're seeing is brown algae and i can wipe it off with my finger, the plants have actually been growing pretty well, and are the only species I've had in my tank NOT die off yet... they may not be aquatic, but they certainly aren't acting that way in my tank - so far... I'll...

    Freshwater Snail Id

definitely not it, there's no spiral look to it - i'd bet good money on it being a bladder/tadpole

    My 55gallon Semi-planted

Java moss seems like a good idea... it won't make the buildings look like they're just overgrown by algae though, will it? and will my algae eaters devour it?
