angels for me........dollars will rip ur plants apart and they are way too skittish for my likings and they get too big

the orange 1 i got has lots of different colours on the body but the fins and tail are really bright porange..............she's lovely

would it be okay to decorate a room where the fish tank is or would the fumes from the paint harm the fish?

i use a new sponge brought out by juwel......its a green nitrate removing sponge and cost £3.50

i too didnt know about cycling and no1 at 3 shops told me about it....so i lost a fair few......ive also lost a few due to infected live foods and recently lost a cichlid due to dropsy :-(

tetra's like slower waters dont they? i know my guppies love a current.......so i use a spray bar on my filter.....so the water isnt gerttin stirred round too fast but theres still a few spots that have a fast flow for the guppies :D

i got a fishy shop directory with a magazine and its been brilliant....we've visited about 20 shops in our area and have come across some stuff we've never seen anywhere alse....a very good idea they are

ive got 2 juwel tanks with the standard H filters and ive cleaned them out a fair bit too and i can honestly say that i havent had a single problem from either of them they're the best biological filters u can get in my opinion
