I wish I had that confidence. I test everyweek, my tests have shown the same results since about 1 month after setting up my tank.

Don't use glue. My first ever tank came with a filter that was pre-glued......... It broke after a month. It was not an easy task removing it to put in a new filter, and you certainly don't want to be doing that in an emergency. You may also want to move it at some point.

2nd that. I have guppies, Cory's and Oto's. The guppies always muscle in and choose the Cory/Oto food first. So I feed them first, wait a few mintues then drop in the Cory/Oto pellets/wafers.
