Thanks this what I think too, one is a lot larger. I have separated them now because the behaviour increased and I was worried it would go too far and one get hurt.

These 2 goldfish appear to be trying to dominate each other. One would say mating behaviour, well maybe male and female im not sure. One a lot bigger than the other, female maybe. Problem is they circle each other at feed time and when they see me. They have been doing this behaviour for months...
