My betta has been fine the past few days, he had a swollen stomach 2 weeks ago, did the pea treatment and the swelling reduced, however today I woke up to find him hiding in an ornament and now he hasn't moved from the top corner of my fish tank. I don't know what's up with him, can anyone help?

Ordered some filter floss and I'm going to replace between a 1/3-1/2 of my second sponge with the floss so the small particles should be filtered out in theory after the coarse sponge. If I don't see a noticeable improvement I'll try seachem purigen. Thanks!

I run a filter with two sponges, would it be okay to cut say, a third off the second sponge and fill that space with floss? Hopefully should filter some of the minute particles in the water.

Yeah, just coarse sponge. How would I go about changing the filter media without destroying the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate cycle?

I'm just wondering whether my water should be crystal clear, from a distance of 1m+ the water looks perfectly clear, however if I press my face near enough to the glass I notice tiny specks floating around the tank that I'm sure aren't bubbles. I cleaned my filter out last week so I've ruled...

I had 2 male mollys before, I had to take one back to the lfs as he was constantly chasing the other molly. I'll definetely get the some more platys, thanks!

Any idea what number of platys? The only problem with adding another molly is that my single molly is male, so I'd have to add 2 female mollys.

In my 20 US gallon tank I currently have 3 platy fish, 1 male betta,6 bronze corys and a molly. I was wondering if I could put 8-10 neon tetras in and still be safely within stocking limits. If not, could anyone recommend some fish that I could put into my community tank? Thanks
