what do you guys think about sinking catfish food the hakri brand? dried krill? dried brine shrimp? daphia? right now i feed them flakes and the "hakri cichlid gold" floating pellets, i have to put the pellets by the filter so the pellets would sink. the Fontosa rarely go to the top of the water...

what is the best food to feed them to keep their blueish color, because it seems that most fish food thats suppose to enchance colors only tend to enhances reds, yellows and oranges, but not blue.

people im NOT talking about when oscars 12inchs. im talking about when they are 2.5inches with other cichlid fish the same in size. why do oscars aways end up being the first fish to get beat up or die? REMEMBER, im not talking about when oscars are 12 inches.

I've had oscars before, I have a question, when i put oscars with other cichlids at about the same size, why do they always up dying? or why are they always the ones that get punked to death? lets say if i had a 55 gallon cichlid tank set up, ones with caves and all. if i was to put 5 cichlids...

when i use to have baby bettas, i remember when i was changing the water, and i put them in the clean water as soon as they hit the clean water, they would all go limp, eventually they go moving again, but yeah i wondered what was wrong with them also.

just wondering... how good are Game fish food (game cat fish food)for predatorial cichlids? they are very high on protien.

i have him with 3 Fontosas and they seem to be doing well even though the fontosa are a little bigger then him, no one is attacking each other. i know they are both African cichlids, are they good tank mates?
