Hey Everyone, So for months now one of my tetras has been growing growths around parts of it's body. The gills seem really inflamed too. It still eats fine etc but it's gradually getting worse. Is there anything i can do or is it untreatable?

I'd used it to remove treatment but had left it in for a short time. The carbon has been out for weeks now butbthe algae has got way worse anyway.

I did buy a phosphate testing kit and it appears that my tap water has phosphate in it (1st photo) But my tank water doesn't seem to have any or it's very low (2nd picture) In this case could big water changes cause more damage than good by causing a boost in phosphate?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I only have 4 Corydoras in the 125L tank now so won't be adding them right now. May need to revoke quite a few fish as they start growing as the Acara's were born in the other tank and all survived lol.
