Hi After my 2 comet goldfish growing too much for the tank i've managed to find a pond to re-home them in which has similarly sized fish already living there. Can anyone give me a quick rundown of the safest way to transfer and aclimatise the fish into the pond? Ta

We had kept some cake aside for those guys too... they were going to go in the bin so Sid ate both pieces :lol:

Dont know what types of goldfish i have... the only difference i can tell (as i dont know how to tell) is that my biggest one has a short tail and my other 2 have longer tails heres some pics of them: really dont want to rehome my fish plus i dont know anyone to do that with and cant really...

um ok its 8.37 gallon tank, one goldfish ive had ayear and is about 4-5 inches long the other 3 fish are about 3 inches long each... its a regular fluval filter i have and i havent done any tests for ammonia etc ..didnt know i needed to do that thing for goldfish until i saw everyone else...

Hi... I have 3 goldfish and a golden orf. The fish have had finrot on and off for a few months now and before i got the gold orf i was treating the water with anti fungus and finrot stuff(not that it seemd to be having much effect) but after treating the water when i got the gold orf it...

Hi, I have a varied selection of top/bottom feeders, but occasionally (like just now) they all (barring maybe 1 or 2 tetras) tend to hover around the top of the tank. Is there any significance i can place on this? Thanks, Stuart

Hi, I am a rank newbie at keeping tropical fish; I currently have an aquarium holding a small group of community fish, a mixture of tetra, danio and a small catfish. I have another species which were bought for me by a friend who had asked the seller if they were safe in community tanks etc...
