ive bought the kind from walmart before, was hoping to find different types, with all the water plants out there it seems odd that those are the only seeds that can be found without buying a whole overpriced plant

i'm lookn for plant bulbs or seeds to start in my aquarium but all i can find online are those overly priced lilly pad bulbs or already grown plants, there are like millions of aquatic plants in the world, surly there are some cheap seeds out there, can someone give me a link where i can buy...

ok cool, i'll add it to the tank, however how would i then clean it when it gets dirty?

my fish dont seem to like the bright light either, i used window tint and put it along the top part of plexi glass, dims the light nicely and my fish dont mind it, but i think fish get used to the light after a while as long as you use it regularly

a friend gave me 50lbs of clean white fine grain sand and wanted to put it in my aquarium, the guy at the petstore told me it would destroy my filter, i have an above water filter, the only problem i could see would be if fish stirred it up and enough sand got around the propeller it might stop...

the tetras are similar to neon, i forget exact name but just have one small glowing spec under their eyes and one on their tail thanks for all the advice, i'd say your right the problem is probly the agae eater, never heard the term plec may be gettn to big...he is orange,red eyes and about 8...
