Ive never heard of Freshwater tonic salt before. Probably a daft question but is it similar to aquarium salt or is it a specialist tonic? Clowns still look terrible, a few spots have dropped off the tetras so I hope the same happens to the clowns before they flick themselves raw :unsure...

Hiya, thanks for replying. I actually turned the temp up when I treat with Interpet and I monitored the clowns, I didnt notice any spots drop off at all to be honest, they just seemed to increase but I will watch for them dropping off again, better luck this time...I hope! Juliet.

Much obliged, will treat with a half dose of wsm tomorrow. Will this be ok with cory's in the tank? I dont have any extra airation. Do I need to buy a pump etc? Thanks :)

Wow he really is a nice fish :drool: I love veiltails myself, I have two Achillies and Nike. The best bit about getting a new fish is thinking of a great name. He looks like a 'Caesar' if you ask me. :lol:

Hi, I have had my 240 litre tank up and running for 4 months now. It has an external 305 filter. It's also heavily planted. I added 6 new fish last weekend ( my lfs said this amount wouldnt cause a minicycle..well it did! ) My stats are amonia:0.25ppm, nitrite:0ppm, nitrate:10ppm...
