its a really hard one, shops will tell you its ok to put fish in with them but they just like the return business when the turtles eat the fish!! Wouldnt you like to just have the turtles in there on their own?? I have a map and a yellow belly and they are huge now, much bigger than yours will...

ive given up with trying to prevent algae in my tank, every now and then i just give it a good wipe around,.....ive tried everything and nothing helps!! I wouldnt try crabs in there...my friend did that and her turtle ended up with a nasty bite on his foot (would you call it a foot??) Ann

Hiya You already have some great advise on here so im sure you`ll be fine..they are great pets to have and a real talking point! Just make sure you are ready for the comitment, i have found my yellow belly and map belly really easy to look after and cleaning them isnt a problem, can be messy...

Hiya We have one of these, we`ve had him for 4 years and very rarely see hm eat so dont worry about that. We have found that ours turns a little grey when moving house ect if he becomes streesed so keep an eye on that! Ann

Hiya we used to have convicts, they are lovely! We had ours in with oscars and had no problems but i wouldnt be sure about trying them with anythng else...they are very aggressive. Ours also bred like crazy!! Good luck!! Ann
