I just got this tank from another owner, and I cant tell what these organisms are. They are green on the outside polyps, with a purple inner circle. They are about 1/4 inch or 1/2 centimeter in diameter.

I am looking for a new light for my 55, but I'm pretty restricted on budget. Which light should I get? I was looking at the Finnex Stingray 2 48" or the Koval 45"-50". Are there any other lights I should look at or which of the two above should I choose? Thanks!!

No, I am using them as food. I am keeping them there to keep the cycle going and not feed all at once.
