My main problem with my tank is algae, so I was wondering, which plants would be good for platies. Is there any specific one or can I just get any. I'm starting a new tank so I'm wondering if I could put the plants in and get them going before I get the fish. And is there a kind of bottom...

I cleaned my fish tank and when I put my catfish back in...well he can't stay at the bottom. He keeps swiming to the bottom and then floating up. Now I've put him in a seperate little tank inside of the big tank. Can anyone help? :-(

oh okay. Is it true that if the tank they are staying in is too small, it can stunt their growth?

I remember when I had goldfish and I had to replace the water in their tank, they always swam towards the bubbles. So did my gourami and now my platies. I just think fishes like bubbles. ;)
