This sounds like what is happening in my tank, its heartbreaking isn't it? I dont really want to go home tonight, I think I'll be left with no fish tonight.

I did give my filter a good clean as it hadn't been as strong as it was, when i turned it back on it didcough out some dirt. But there was literally loads of this white stuff everywhere, much more than could have been in the filter. I've cleaned it all off this morning so hopefully no more fish...

Hi I cleaned out my tank as normal on Saturday, added some bacteria and water treatment as normal, scooped up the bottom as normal, trimmed the plants as normal. Came home yesterday afternoon and the water was really cloudy, could barely see the back of the tank. Lots of white stuff over all...

Yeah I had a lot of trouble with cloudy water. Just keep the filter clean and do regular changes and it will clear itself, if not you can buy liquid from the pet store which will help.

Thanks Emma. I'm popping to the pets store after work to buy a breeding net. My girlfriend may buy a small tank to help too. This is brilliant though, I'm so excited!
