Well i have had my new tank setup since yesterday, it has not leaked any water, it seems fine, i haven't really got any opinions of the picture that i have put on here, are alot of tanks glued together abit wonky like mine? i was wondering how strong is silicone?

Thanks for the reply, the black neons are about 5-7cm long, i have afew rasboras as well, maybe if i got a small young angelfish it may not trouble them when bigger because it will have been brought up with them.

I am considering getting one or two angle fish but i dont know whether they would be compatible with rams, neons, tetras, rasboras, plecos, corydoras, cockatoo cichlids, flying fox' and platys and guppys. I am aware that angelfish are semi-aggressive, i was just wondering whether they eat small...

Thanks for the reply, i will definitley get 2 rams, and probably 1 cockatoo chichlid then, i will be able to provide plenty of hiding places and swimming space in my tank, i did read somewhere that the cockatoo's are timid and only get slightly aggressive now and again, hopefully when i get one...

Thanks for the helpful info, i will probably run the new filter in the new tank and put the filter media from the old tank into a stocking and put it next to the filter, never heard of doing that before but it's something that would help get the bacteria into the new tank so thats for that advice.

The only thing i am worried about is the fact that on one side of the tank up until halfway up the tank it is glued straight but the other half obviously when it was made it was glued wonky and the glass hangs out quite a bit, obviously it should be ok, i'm not worried as long as the tank doesnt...

You have taken a big risk there, i will be surprised if you dont lose quite a few fish because the tank needs to be cycled before the fish are added.
