Thanks, I took out the sponge that was inside the filter and combined it with an oxygen pump from the hole in the sponge (only the plastic tube, the actual engine is on the outside) from my understanding that works just fine, right?

I have an EHEIM pump, and a brand new (baby) half banded spiny eel. The pump had fallen off from the glass, so I put my hand in there to fix it... And my eel swam inside of it. I panicked a bit, tried to get my eel out, managed to do it and now of course it is extremely stressed and (I think)...
