Oh. I dont really want to sell my betta so what would you suggest that would go in with a betta.

Because if they flare they are stressted which means they will not eat. It happened to my betta.

You could get some bettas . like 2 females at the most or 1 male.

Hey guys! I just upgraded from a 10g to a 20g. I still have my betta fish from my 10g. But i want to explore and do more then just betta. So i was thinking maybe a Axolotl or pea/ drawf puffers. My tank is planted with a 20g canister filter and two pieces of drift wood. Heres a pic

What are your ammonia levels?

Take out your filter media and wash it really well or by a new one. Or clean the whole filter.

Just give them some time. They will come out. It just takes time. It is a new tank and they are scared. My two bettas did not come out of hiding for 3-4 days.
