I have a Juwel compact filter that I have just taken out of my Trigon 190. It has a 400 lt/h pump with it plus the filter baskets. There are a few sponges(used) I have a box of carbon filters that I will throw in as well. But I don't know if there is 1 or 2 in there. Would prefer collection but...

Yes it's a maidenhead aquatics. Are you having a full hood on the tankl or a luminaire type light assy? I think most archerfish don't spit until they get to a reasonable size plus you can have the water to the top and get the archerfish to spit when you do water changes.

Totally agree a right pain in the proverbial to set up. I find after I have stripped it down for a good clean it kicks out loads of microbubbles again. But it seems to do a good job.

I have 3 mollies in my 55g tank. They help a lot with Algae. They don't stop the algae on the glass but they do shift a lot off any ornaments and plants.
