    I'm from Escanaba. Quick question, I'm thinking of putting sand in a new aquarium do you think it would be ok to use sand from Lake Superior? Lake Michigan is to polluted. :angry:

    Sand Or Gravel ?

    I've been thinking of using sand also, do you know of any other fish that sand would be a problem for? The sand wouldn't effect plant growth at all would it?

    Hi All, I am extremely new to aquariums, had mine for just over 1 month. I currently have 2 Balloon Mollies, 2 Guppies ( 1 is pregnent ) 6 neons, and an upsidown catfish. Hope to continue this excellent hobby. I live in Michigan ( the UP ), 16 years old, blah blah blah..
