Welcome to TFF Looks like a dragonfly or damselfy nymph...they're predators of small fish and shrimp, yes they are a concern, and should be removed

Battery-powered air pumps for aerating your tanks are useful during power-out situations.

Cut back on the feeding, to once every 2 or 3 days...shrimp (and fish, for that matter) don't need to be fed every day

Shrimp are scavengers, they'll eat whatever they can find, they don't need special foods...in a biologically mature tank, they'll be fine How long has the tank been set up?

I use them for filling vials like you did, but rarely test my water any more My main use for them now is dosing water conditioner...much more precise than the "capfuls", which is often recommended
