The tablet was white, the water was clear, the gravel is brown, I didn't rinse it :P and it's a different shade of blue than my fish :( Could it be the conditioner tablet? One thing I thought was weird was the directions said to dissolve one tablet in a 3 gallon tank or something like that, but...

Hey everyone! Newbie here. I just bought my first fish, a Betta, never owned a fish before. Put new water in the bowl, gravel on the bottom, water conditioning tablet, then when the tablet was dissolved put my fish in. The water is now a very powerful turquoise...is this normal?
