    Demasoni/ Yellow Lab Combo

IN a 60g tank there is only so many more you can add. I wouldnt advise adding too many more labs to up their group, I would get rid of the labs and add a few more demosani. That is just me though. Everything seems fine now, but fish turn when you least expect it and demosani can be a vicious...

    A Good Mix?

I would stick to a single Guarami unless you know how to sex them. If you get 4, you only want 1 male and 3 female. Also, your tank is not big enough for clown loaches. Angels should be in a school of 6 unless they are a proven pair, in which case, keeping 2 would be good.

    Demasoni/ Yellow Lab Combo

I personally would keep it as a species tank. Expecially if you are wanting that many demosani. Even though they are small, demosani are extremely violent for their size and that many of them versus the number of labs and peacocks will more than likely lead to yellow lab replacements on a...

Question About 27 Gallon Cichlid Tank

Completely agree. I had a 75g Malawi tank and even though I have about 20 or so labs, blue zebras and haps, i had an aggressive blue zebra and occasional deaths from violence. Had a lot of rock work and hiding spaces and it still happened. A tank as small as yours would end up in massacre.

    How About An Oscar?

A full grown male green terror would not fit in a 55g. They are a rather large bulky fish that top out at about 8 inches. Would do better in a 75g. You do not necessarily have to pair a green terror. In fact, having a pair with any other fish will end up like a pair of jacks in a tank with other...

    How About An Oscar?

Jack Dempseys would do fine in a 55g, but I would only due 1 jack, or a single pair with no other fish. I had a BN with Jacks and they killed it when they bred. Oscars, if big enough, will eat attempt to eat a BN. NOt always, but I have seen them try, and a friend of mine had to pry a BN out of...

    Driftwood In A Tanganyika Tank

Driftwood should be fine. I kept some semblance of driftwood in my tank whether they were SA or african. Its good for most algae eaters

    Input For 75 Gallon Tank

The severum is going to be about 6-8 inches, so you have to anticipate what more the severum is going to grow. Also check into how big your other fish are versus how big they will get.

    New Oscar Owner: Question

They may be a pair or they may just really like each other. Keep an eye on them like others said as they are known to turn at maturity. I had a pair that did great together but once they got to be about 9 inches, they started fighting. Funny thing was, they are very smart and knew when they were...

    Severum Male Or Female?

Looks like a female as the markings are not spread across the face. In my experience any color of severum will have a little bit of facial marking, but the males will be very bright and cover the whole face, to include the front palate.

Hello And Help Re Fish Mortality

Check the ammonia of your tap water. The area I used to live in had approximately 1ppm of ammonia in it.

    Who's The Culprit?!?

It could actually be either way. More than likely bored rasboras, but male guppies will nip too, especially if they want to be dominant in the tank.
